Hi, I’m Kat — Co-Founder of BODA Event Management.
I’ve been in the wedding industry for 15+ years, starting out at a beautiful venue in France where I fell in love with turning couples ideas into sunny, wine filled celebrations. Since then, I’ve worked on 500+ weddings and events across Scotland — from rustic barns to grand castles — plus lively parties and corporate galas.
I believe your day should feel effortless for you and just a good time for your guests. Whether it’s full planning, partial planning, or on-the-day coordination, I cover every detail so you can soak it all in.
When I’m not chatting timelines, you’ll find me sampling canapés or checking everyone else is enjoying the day!

Meet Manisha — our vibrant bundle of energy who brings a fresh spark to every event she works on. At just 20, she’s already built an impressive background in hospitality, starting her career as soon as she was old enough to work and never looking back.
From serving guests with a smile to supporting seamless event setups, Manisha’s enthusiasm is infectious. She thrives in the buzz of busy celebrations and loves being part of a team that turns special occasions into lasting memories.
Her natural warmth and can-do attitude mean she’s always ready to go the extra mile — whether that’s greeting guests, adding finishing touches to a table, or making sure the day runs like clockwork.

Richard
Richard is BODA’s ace in the hole — our co-founder, head chef, and the creative mind who knows how to make food a highlight of any event.
With years of experience in professional kitchens and a flair for combining classic techniques with fresh, exciting ideas, he understands how to turn a menu into a memorable part of your celebration.
Richard’s role goes beyond the kitchen — he can work closely with clients to help design menus that reflect their tastes, themes, and vision, even when they’re working with their own chosen caterer. His knowledge, creativity, and practical approach ensure that every dish not only looks and tastes incredible, but fits seamlessly into the flow of the day.
In the fast pace of event days, Richard is calm, organised, and completely unflappable — the kind of person you want guiding the food experience when it matters most.
