Hi, I’m Kat—although I’ll also answer to Katrina or “here, you!” I’m the founder of BODA Event Management and a Glasgow-based wedding planner offering full planning, partial planning and on-the-day coordination across Scotland.
I started out working at a wedding venue in France before moving into catering and events—which taught me two very important things: good food matters, and even the most beautiful weddings run better when someone behind the scenes knows exactly what’s going on.
These days, I’ve swapped the French sunshine for Scottish hills, barns, beaches and the occasional sideways rain—sorting the details, keeping everyone right and making sure you’re not the one running about trying to organise your own wedding.
What do I actually do? Everything you don’t want to.
Timelines, logistics, suppliers, emails, spreadsheets and plans A–F—because weddings love a surprise. I keep the whole day moving without you having to check your watch, your phone or your blood pressure.
Whether you want someone alongside you throughout the planning process or simply need an experienced coordinator to take the reins on the day, I’m there to make sure everything comes together exactly as it should.
My style is simple:

You get to relax, float around looking fabulous and enjoy the moments you’ve spent months looking forward to. I deal with the details, the decisions, the suppliers and the people who mysteriously disappear five minutes before the group photos.
Alongside wedding planning and coordination, I also provide remote admin and operations support for wedding venues, caterers and event businesses across Scotland and the UK. From managing enquiries and client communication to final-detail calls, event briefs and invoice chasing, I help keep everything organised behind the scenes—without you needing another permanent member of staff.
